To have the audio play continuously across all slides in the background, select Play in Background. Loop until Stopped: Plays an audio file on loop until it’s stopped manually by clicking the Play/Pause button. Play Across Slides: Plays one audio file across all slides. To choose how the audio plays in your presentation, select an option: When Clicked On: Plays audio only when the icon is clicked on. In Click Sequence: Plays the audio file automatically with a click.Īutomatically: Plays automatically once you advance to the slide that the audio file is on. To choose how the audio file starts, select the dropdown arrow and select an option: To adjust volume, select Volume and select the setting you prefer. To fade in or fade out audio, change the number in the Fade Duration boxes. To trim the audio, select Trim and then use the red and green sliders to trim the audio file accordingly. Then select which options you'd like to use: Select the audio icon and then select the Audio Tools Playback tab. If you’re using more than one audio file per slide, we recommend putting the audio icon in the same spot on a slide to find it easily. To move your clip, select and drag the audio icon to where you want it on the slide. Select Record to re-record your clip, or select OK if you're satisfied. To review your recording, select Stop and then select Play. But if you want, you can change the duration, match it with text instead of objects, and define when to start the transition.Note: Your device must have a microphone enabled in order to record audio. Keynote takes care of the transition and animation automatically. Preview it and you'll instantly see a smooth animation going from one slide to another. From the Add an Effect section, choose Magic Move. Select the first of the two slides (not both) and from the sidebar, click on the Animate tab. In the second slide, position the elements where you want them to end up. The first slide will have objects in the default state. Now, change the position of the objects on both slides. From the Slide Navigator, duplicate the slide by using the Cmd + D shortcut. Instead of moving an object from one position to another in one slide, you can directly move an object from one slide to another, with complete control over the animation.įirst, place the objects on the slides the way you want. Magic Move combines the transition and animation features we've talked about above. This mind-blowing little utility has been in Keynote for ages.
